Rodeo

We went to the Riverton Rodeo this weekend. We had so much fun. It is something we will do every year for sure! The kids are lining up to chase the money calf.
Chandler ran so hard and fast. He even wore his cleats to help
him get a better grip in the dirt. He got close to the calf, but didn't
get any money. Better luck next time!
The rodeo clown said "There is a boy out there in
red who ran so fast his hair fell off, now he is running
around looking for it!" He must have been talking about
Chandler!

Camden even went out there and chased the calves!
I have to say I was nervous the whole time. I didn't
want him to get trampled by all of the other kids! He
had so much fun and loved running around the arena!

We couldn't get a good picture of Christian
chasing the money calf, but here he is watching
the bull riding. (Christian was determined to get
some money off the calf. He got very close, but again
no luck!)

Last Baseball Game

This was the first year Christian played on a
competition team. We knew going into the season
that we wouldn't win a lot of games, because it is
a young team. What we didn't know is that we
wouldn't win a single game. The Heaters practiced
really hard and improved so much from the start of the season.
This last game they scored 9 runs! Way to go Heaters. Christian's
coach is passionate about baseball and that is evident when he coaches the boys.
Christian learned so much this year. We look forward to next season.
Hopefully we can win a game or two!Tonight Christian had 3 at bats and 3 hits!
Awesome job!

Sliding into home plate for the last time of the season.

Aquarium

We went to the Living Planet Aquarium with
my friend Lara and her kids.
I had never been there before. Christian and Chandler
had been there once.It was fun, but I don't know how soon we will be going back.
It was kind of pricey and not a whole lot to see. I guess I was just expecting
a little more.

You could pretend to drive a boat. It showed an actual
screen of the direction the boat was going depending on
which way you would steer.
Camden is looking at the fish. When we got to the sharks,
he would jump back every time they swam past the front
of the tank. I think they got a little to close for comfort.

Chandler's favorite part was touching the star fish
and sea cucumber (the picture I took of that didn't turn out).
I even touched the sea cucumber. It was very slimy-Yuck!
Chandler also touched a stingray!

Christian's favorite thing to see was the sharks. He almost touched
the sea animals, but then changed his mind!

It's sad to say that the most exciting part of the aquarium was
the photo booth. We had a lot of good laughs watching the kids
get their pictures taken!

Splash Pad

We went to a splash pad out in Herriman.

The kids had a lot of fun cooling off in the water.

Jaida and Jessica. I love these girls!

The Park

We got to watch our friends John and Debbie's
3 youngest kids for a couple of days. They were so
much fun to have. Thanks Jaida, Jessica and Daniel
for being so sweet.

Camden loved playing with the twins non-stop for 3 days.

Eating some yummy lunch.

Picnic and Bubbles

There is nothing better than a summer afternoon picnic. Christian is so sweet. He made a picnic lunch for himself, Chandler and Camden. They ate it on the front lawn.

After the picnic Chandler and Camden blew bubbles.
