Victory is Sweeeet......

Chris and his buddies went up to the U of U to tailgate. They got there on Friday night and spent the night in Thomas' motor home. They tailgated the whole day on Sat. until kick off. They had a blast doing the whole male bonding thing!
Christian met up with Chris just before kick off.

Waiting for the game to start

Christian guessed the right half time score earning him $9 bucks!

Some of the boys. John is a BYU homer!

After the game Christian and Chris stormed the field!

Some of the boys again

Christian with #90 (Shelby)

and Swoop
What a great game that was! Final score Utah 48 BYU 24!
I am so glad that Christian got to join Chris & "The boys" for a night that he will never forget!
Way to Go Utes!!!

Halloween!!!

Let's see what we have here; A Ninja Turtle (last minute costume change), the cutest nerd ever and a dead Motocross Racer (creepy I know).

We went to Thomas' house for Halloween. The kids had so much fun trick or treating. They were very impressed by the candy they got. It was one "of those neighborhoods" that really got into the spirit of Halloween. They are already talking about how they can't wait to do it again next year! After trick or treating we went back to Thomas' to do some Halloween festivities. The kids ate donuts from a string (because they didn't already have enough sugar) and then bobbed for apples. It was a fun night! Thanks Thomas' for letting us PARTY at your house!

Duck,Duck, Goose....

Camden and I went and feed the ducks with Grandma Rass, Aunt Leslie, my cousins Julie, Dayna and their kids. The weather was perfect! I know the crisp fall days are nearing the end, so it was nice to be outside and enjoy it before it's gone!

You take a bite....I'll take a bite.....

After the park we went back to Grandma's house and ate some pie while we sat and visited. It was a great day and so fun to spend time with family.

This n' That

The other day I was driving home from running an errand, when I passed by an antique shop that I drive past often. I have always wondered what it was like inside, so on a whim I made a quick lane change and decided to take a look inside. That is where I found this chair, that I am absolutely in love with. It was in the basement in a back room. I saw it, the price was right, so it now sits in my front living room for all to see. All it really needed was to be dusted off and maybe a little glue on the slats. I think the chair is so happy to be at my house. I wonder when was the last time that it was sat upon, before Camden?

Me and my cute friends had a craft night and we each made a witch book. I love my witch book so much! (Thank you Kelly for sharing your Mom's idea with us!)

Look at my fun potion bottles! I made these too!
I have been quit crafty lately. I don't know why, but it's kind of fun!

Witch's Brew

Camden and I went to Gardner Village this week to go on a witch hunt. (Thank you Lara for letting us tag along with you and your cute sisters.) Camden loves the song "Witches Brew". So of course he loved these witches!!

Happy Birthday Scooter!

Happy 10th Birthday Christian! Double Digits -Wow! I can't believe how fast time goes. It is quit scary when you stop and think about it. We love you so much Christian and hope you had the best Birthday yet! He got an I pod shuffle and skins for it so he can change the colors, Madden 09' and some comfy gym pants to lounge around in.

He told me exactly how he wanted his cake designed. He really wanted a Jordan Football Cake, so I did my best!

Make a Wish! Christian, I hope all your dreams come true! You deserve it! Thanks for being such a great kid, who always keeps us smiling.

Gotta Love Crazy Hair Day!

Who are those weirdos? Yes, it is Drug Free Week at school. To show school spirit and to show support to stay drug free it is crazy hair day! Why is this always one of the favorite days of the year? Almost as fun as Halloween!

Getting Crafty!

The kids had so much fun making these cute and very inexpensive crafts that I got at Michael's Craft. Something to get us in the Halloween spirit! The lanterns were a bit harder to do, so I helped out with those.

Fall is here!

We had a Welcome to Fall/Chris' B-day party.
We decided to welcome fall by having a pizza party and then after having ooey gooey Carmel apples! It coincided nice with Chris' B-day (we celebrated it a day early because football interferes with the actual big day). Happy 35th Birthday Chris! I love you so much!

A Visit to Eden

We went up to Eden to visit Dave, Amy and their cute kids. We also did some dirt biking and four wheeling. There is a dirt road right next to Dave and Amy's, so we took the machines over there so the kids could ride. They had a lot of fun! Camden and Izzy kept busy taking the jeep out for a ride. When we got to their house the first thing Aunt Amy did was pull Camden's hair up out of his eyes so he could see! (He has gotten a much needed haircut since then!) After four wheeling we had a barbecue and sleepover. The next morning Amy made a yummy breakfast for us before we headed back home. It was such a fun over night getaway. Something we will have to do again for sure. Thank you Dave and Amy!

The views from Dave and Amy's are beautiful.

Camden and Chris took a ride on Uncle Dave's four wheeler.

Is Chris in the Wrong Business?

For Chandler's baptism I wanted to order a fruit bouquet from a company. I looked into it and found out that it would cost between $65-$120 for a nice one. Chris said that was ridiculous and that he would make one himself, so he did. I did not help one smidgen with it. He did such a great job! I was so proud!!

Chandler's Baptism

Can you say "Handsome!"

Chandler was baptized on Saturday! He has been soooo excited for this. The day of his baptism he kept asking "is it time to go yet?" He couldn't wait to get to the church for his special day. Chandler has always been very spiritual. He has such a sweet spirit and always tries to do what's right. I am so happy that he chose to be baptized.

Another Saturday.....Another Game!

We played Riverton this week. Let's just say it didn't go as well as last weeks game. The final score 34-0 for Riverton. Not such a happy ending!

Christian earned the Defensive MVP ball. He sacked the quarter back causing him to fumble. Way to go Christian!!

After having some time to contemplate the game I have come to wonder, could the reason we lost be because of these new cleats of Christian's? He just got these cleats and this was his first game using them. Christian's last cleats he had gave him an undefeated season (hmmmm.... makes ya wonder) or was the loss because our starting quarterback and running back were out of town? Maybe the loss could have been because our team just didn't show up to play. I don't know which of the reasons it could be, maybe it was a combination of them all. All I do know is that I hope next weeks game goes much much better!
