We had such a fun 4th of July weekend in beautiful Eden, Ut. We rented a condo with our friends the Walrons and the Packers. The condo was great and was able to sleep all 17 of us. The weekend started out a little rough. Two hours into it, Chandler cut his head open. He was playing on a raft in the swimming pool and fell off. He fell back and hit his head on the side of the pool. I was at the grocery store with Heather and Lisa when it happened, which is probably a good thing. I don't like the sight of blood. When we got back from the store, Chris had just gotten Chandler all cleaned up. He definitely needed to go get it stitched up. Chris and I took him to the Insta care. After getting lost for an hour trying to find it and 6 staples later, the rest of the weekend was wonderful!

The morning of the 4th Waldrons, Packers and us we went to the town of Huntsville to watch a parade and spend some time at the park doing some festivities. We met Dave, Amy and their kids at the park.
The boys had a great time shooting these paint ball guns.

After spending some time in Huntsville, we went to the town of Liberty to enjoy some of their festivities and to have Chris compete in the arm wrestling championship. We came to Liberty Days once before, but it was 4 years ago. Chris won the arm wrestling championship that year. We thought we would go back so that Chris could regain his title! We didn't know that they had a championship for kids also. Of course when we found out, Christian, Chandler their friend Tyson wanted to try. Chandler and Tyson had fun and did a great job trying, but Christian Won! It was awesome to watch him!
Look at how intense his face is! That is not a small boy that he went up against in his last match to win.
The two men on either side of Christian were the judges.
Christian's prize for winning, a duffel bag! It's not the prize that matters, it's the title "Arm Wrestling Champion of Liberty Days!"

Next it was Chris' turn. Here are two of the pictures of the men that Chris went up against. (I didn't post all of the pictures from the event.)
Chris did an AWESOME job and won his title back. After the competition was over, some of the men wanted to try again, but had no luck against Chris. Both of the judges also had a try at it. I think the town of Liberty will be talking for a while about the 2 Opfars who came in and won!
Way to go Chris and Christian!

We went to the golf course behind Dave and Amy's house to watch the fireworks. We saw 3 different firework shows in the sky. We could see them from Liberty, Huntsville and Wolf Creek Resort. We were not disappointed! What a wonderful night.

We headed home Saturday afternoon. It was so nice to get away even just for a couple of days. Thank you Waldrons and Packers for such a fun weekend.

This really was such a memorable 4th of July -you guys were much more fun to hang out with than Miley Cyrus. I think you should start your weight lifting and training for arm wrestling now so your cute family could sweep the competition next year. It really was such a fun weekend. Thank you so much for inviting us!!!
I love when you up date your blog!! It is so cute. You really are a good little picure taker. Looks like you guys had so much fun!!! I hate to miss these things. That is so great Chris and Christian won!! I bet they died when they wrapped their hands around those enormous pads.

Hi Guys long time no see. I hope all is well. Megan said she saw you guys at the rodeo. I love this blogging stuff. It is great to see your darling kids. Lisa we found some pictures of our families in lake powel it was funny to see us as little kids. Well keep in touch.
